I was alive and kicking in 73 during the oil embargo and I recall gas being $0.50 a gallon in 78 when I started driving. But I DIDN'T know these facts about Notre Dame until now. This is the type of hard-hitting journalism that we bloggers have become famous for. All of you should kneel before Thomas and pay him homage.
