You can only spend the alloted cap money and that's it. If you're over the cap, you have to cut a player. I'd really like to see the Cowboys use one first rounder to get a CB, then use the other first round pick to trade down and acquire additional picks. The secondary needs help before the offense does. Should be interesting to see how it plays out. The NFL doesn’t have a luxury tax. You can only spend the alloted cap money and that’s it. If you’re over the cap, you have to cut a player.

Either way, I think the Giants have the Cowboys numbered next year. I still can't believe Eli Freakin Manning won the Super Bowl... Jones, redneck sucker that he is, dealing with Davis is like Neville Chamberlain dealing with Hitler. It is not like the Cowboys couldn't afford to pay a luxury tax... I was surprised a couple of years ago when I went to Texas Stadium for the Thanksgiving Day game and they were selling a Cowboys spa, in the shape of the star logo. You should have seen the lemmings lining up left and right putting in orders for the thing. All the while I saw Jerry Jones looking down upon the huddled masses with his billion dollar botox filled toothy grin. Capitalism at its best... Jerry Jones would figure out a way for it to work. They can't afford it anyway. Not enough room under the cap. But I do like the Raiders and they've made a good move in acquiring Hall. Some players in the league are just made to play for the Raiders, at least there was a time when that was the case. I miss those days of the true Raiders. Al is getting a little senile in his old age. Perhaps that time has come for him to step aside. Nice scribble. I doubt, even in jest if the Cowboys would make such a move.
